Bob Forwood has extensive experience in the steel detailing industry, currently serving as an Estimator and Steel Detailer at NIX since November 2021. Prior to this role, Bob owned RTC Steel Detailing LLC from April 2016 to April 2023, overseeing all aspects of the business, including material takeoffs and the production of fabrication drawings using SDS/2 3D Detailing Software. Bob's background includes detailing steel projects at Associated Engineers, Inc. from May 2006 to April 2016, and various design and detailing roles earlier in their career, including work with Ted Lolley and Associates LLC and RBS Design Group Architecture. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology with a focus on Architectural Design & Construction from Western Kentucky University.
