Carolyn Lundquist is a seasoned marine ecologist with extensive experience in academia and research, currently serving as Principal Scientist at NIWA since November 2000. In addition to this role, Carolyn holds multiple positions at The University of Auckland, including Associate Professor in both the School of Environment and the Institute of Marine Science, as well as previously serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Institute of Marine Science. Carolyn earned a PhD in Ecology from the University of California, Davis, between 1993 and 2000, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles, obtained in 1993.
