Nitin Gupta is a finance professional with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as Deputy Manager at Niva Bupa Health Insurance since November 2022, Nitin has been involved in IFRS/Ind AS adoption, risk-based capital, loss reserving, reinsurance placement and reporting, along with regulatory reporting. Previously, Nitin worked as an Assistant Manager at ManipalCigna Health Insurance Company Ltd. from October 2021 to October 2022, focusing on reserving, reinsurance, and reporting. Nitin's early career included an internship at R. Venkatarama Aiyar & Co., where responsibilities included statutory and tax audits, income tax and GST return filing, as well as consultancy. Nitin holds a Chartered Accountant degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Calcutta University.
