Usman Syed has a strong background in software testing and technical leadership. Usman started their career at Wipro in 2006 as a Test Lead and worked there until 2015. In 2015, they joined Nisum as a Principal QA Engineer and later transitioned into the role of Technical Lead in 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Technical Lead at Nisum, starting from April 2021.

Usman Syed's education history begins with their high school education at Quwatul Islam from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained their High School degree. After that, from 2000 to 2002, they attended Christ College for Pre University studies. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from CMRIT, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Later, they undertook a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) with a specialization in Human Resources Management and Services at Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning, completing their studies from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Usman Syed obtained a certificate of completion in Selenium Webdriver from TOOLSQA in January 2018.
