Asfar Ali began their work experience in 2016 as an intern at FOURGEN Information Systems (Pvt) Ltd. In 2017, they joined Nisum as an Associate Software Engineer and later progressed to the role of Software Engineer. Asfar then became a Senior Software Engineer before their current position as a Software Engineer - I, which they started in October 2021.

Asfar Ali attended the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their degree, Asfar Ali also completed several certification courses on online platform Coursera. In 2016, they obtained certifications in Front-End JavaScript Frameworks: AngularJS, Front-End Web UI Frameworks and Tools, and HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
