Kenneth Sercy

Energy Abundance Policy Manager at Niskanen Center

Kenneth Sercy is an experienced energy policy professional currently serving as the Energy Abundance Policy Manager at the Niskanen Center since June 2023. Prior to this role, Sercy worked as an Energy Analyst at Greenlink Analytics and as an Electric Sector Consultant at Sercy Consulting, where responsibilities included expert witness services and quantitative analysis. As a Utility Regulation Specialist for the South Carolina Coastal Conservation League, Sercy developed strategies for numerous regulatory dockets focused on electric utility resource planning and renewable energy initiatives. Earlier experience includes serving as a Research Assistant with the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions, conducting energy-economic modeling, and completing an internship at the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association, analyzing utility resource decisions. Sercy began a career in the publishing industry as a Copy Editor with Nature Publishing Group. Educational credentials include a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Clemson University.
