Rafaela Paulo Teixeira is a researcher PhD student at the NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research, focusing on estuarine and delta systems. Rafaela founded and serves as CEO of Fish4MePT since August 2016, leading initiatives in marine biology. Rafaela also held a fellowship for the CYMECOP Project under Erasmus+ in December 2022, aimed at enhancing youth leadership competencies in various countries. Previously, Rafaela worked as a geospatial analyst at Staruplo, focusing on satellite data analysis and internal consulting on marine biology and oceanography. Rafaela's academic background includes a Master's degree in Marine and Coastal Systems and a Bachelor's in Marine Biology from the Universidade do Algarve, along with relevant studies in environmental issues at Colorado State University and the University of Oregon.
