Dan Crossland has a diverse work experience in the field of character art and design. Dan began their career at Sumo Digital Ltd in 2002, working as a Senior Character Artist until 2011. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Freelance Character Artist. In 2017, they joined MPC as a Lead modeller/character creature for a brief period of 10 months. Since 2020, they have been working at Ninja Theory, where they started as a Lead Character Artist and was later promoted to Principal Character Artist. In 2021, they took on the role of Character Art Director.
Dan Crossland attended the Ruskin Art School in 2014. During this time, they focused on studying anatomy, although they did not obtain a degree in that field.
