Rodrigo Rivero Gómez-Escolar has a diverse work experience in the financial and legal sector. Rodrigo started their career as a Legal and Operational Adviser for Diagonal Company / tessi DIAGONAL at CaixaBank in 2015. Rodrigo then worked as a Legal Adviser at NOVO BANCO in 2017. In 2018, they joined Bankinter as a Compliance professional, where they stayed until 2021. Currently, Rodrigo holds the position of Senior Compliance Officer at Ninety Nine, starting in June 2021.

Rodrigo Rivero Gómez-Escolar has a Licenciatura degree in Derecho from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. In 2016-2017, they pursued a Máster Universitario en Derecho Bancario y Mercados e Instituciones Financieras with a specialization in Asesoría Jurídica from CUNEF.

In 2019-2020, Rodrigo completed a Programa de especialización curso preparatorio para la certificación CESCOM Compliance from IEB. Rodrigo obtained the CESCOM® certification from ASCOM- Asociación Española de Compliance in February 2020 and the Internationally Certified Compliance Professional certification from the International Federation of Compliance Associations (IFCA) in the same month and year.
