Erin Petrie has a rich work experience spanning different healthcare organizations. In 2009, they began their career as a Business Manager at Cook County Health and Hospitals System, where they managed a team and served as a liaison between the Chief Information Officer and the Senior Management team. Erin also prepared and monitored budgets and provided analysis to the management team. In 2012, Erin worked as an Administrative Assistant at Rush University Medical Center, where they managed calendars, coordinated meetings for the senior management team, and assisted in various department-wide projects. Erin then joined MacNeal Hospital in 2013 as a Business Manager of Perioperative Services, where they led a team and handled activities related to supply chain management, revenue cycle, and data analysis for the Perioperative department. In 2015, Erin became the Business Manager of Surgical Services at Advocate Christ Medical Center, responsible for managing the surgical services' business operations. Erin'srole there involved creating budgets, analyzing data, and working with surgeons and leadership to improve service line performance. Erin then moved to Regent Surgical Health in 2017 as the VP of Revenue Cycle Management, where they played a key role in managing the revenue cycle for the organization. Currently, since 2022, Erin holds the position of VP of Client Services at National Medical Billing Services.
Erin Petrie began their education in 2006 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied English/Language Arts Teacher Education. Erin completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in 2010. In 2019, Erin enrolled in Indiana Wesleyan University to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA)- MHA degree, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
