Jim Wallace has extensive work experience in the agricultural industry, particularly in the pork sector. Starting in 2004, they served as a Farm Hand at Iowa State University. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Field Staff at Lakeside Feeders, where they selected hogs for the market, graded incoming pigs, and handled logistics and producer relations.
In 2011, Jim joined Niman Ranch as a Field Agent, focusing on production issues, inventory management, and selling the program. Jim later became the Weaned Pig Placement Manager, responsible for sales and recruitment. From 2014 to 2022, they served as the Senior Director of Operations - Live Hogs, managing operations and working closely with farmers, logistics, and sales teams.
In 2017, Jim also took on the role of Senior Director of Operations - Live Hogs at Coleman Natural Foods, managing the independent hog producers and production team.
Jim's experience at Genesus Inc in 2011 involved working with contract growers to select breeding stock and manage gilt flow.
