Chris Persson began their work experience in 2002 as a Science Lab Instructor for the Peace Corps. In 2005, they worked as a FIT Candidate for Unifi, Inc. Chris then joined Unifi Manufacturing, Inc. in 2007 and held various positions including Project Engineer, Process Development Manager, Quality Assurance Technical Manager, Technical Manager, Technical & Fiber Applications Manager, and Director of Global Innovation. Chris joined NILIT LTD in 2020 as Director of Sales and Technical Service.

Chris Persson earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1996 to 2001. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from High Point University, completing it from 2011 to 2014.
