Jarrett Dapier is an experienced youth and teen services librarian currently serving at Niles-Maine District Library, where responsibilities include providing readers advisory and reference services. Dapier also holds the position of adjunct professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, teaching graduate courses in library and information science. Previous roles include young adult librarian at Skokie Public Library, where Dapier developed programming focused on information literacy and social justice, and public libraries research project coordinator for the Thirty Million Words Initiative.
