Karsten Hoppe has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Karsten is currently working as the Business Director Clinical Wearables at Nile AB since January 2024. Prior to this, they co-founded HAPYmedical in March 2018. From July 2019 to December 2023, they served as the Head of Technology & Business Development at BioTel Europe /Philips AM&D. Before that, they were the CTO at ADEA Medical AB from March 2018 to June 2019. Karsten also worked at BioTelemetry Healthcare and BioTelemetry Technology Aps. as a Research Manager from April 2016 to March 2018. Additionally, they have experience in research and product development as a Research Manager and Senior Specialist at DELTA from 2003 to 2016. Karsten began their career as a Component Designer at Intel Corporation in 1999.

Karsten Hoppe attended Roskilde Katedralskole from 1986 to 1989. Karsten then studied at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 1989 to 1997, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering.
