Sergey Kovalev is a highly experienced IT professional with a strong background in backup and disaster recovery, virtualization, and storage operations. Currently serving as a Service Control Center Senior Analyst at Mars since July 2017, Sergey also works as a Virtualization and Storage Operations Engineer at Nitka. Prior roles include Backup and Disaster Recovery Service Manager at OS33, where responsibility included managing a team for backup infrastructure support based on CommVault, and Senior Systems Engineer at Intel, where contributions involved engineering storage and backup solutions, developing global standards, and managing vendor engagements. Sergey holds a Master of Physics degree in Radiophysics and electronics from Lobachevsky State University of Nizhniy Novgorod, obtained between 1991 and 1997.
