Jory Sonneveld is a researcher in Detector R&D and the ALICE experiment at Nikhef since September 2020 and serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Amsterdam concurrently. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at the University of Hamburg from September 2015 to September 2020 and a graduate student researcher role at RWTH Aachen University, where Jory completed a doctorate in Elementary Particle Physics. Jory's academic background includes a Master of Science in Theoretical Physics from Utrecht University and a Bachelor of Science from the same institution. Additionally, Jory has experience in tutoring various physics and mathematics subjects, as well as system administration.
