Dorin Baniel has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to the present. Dorin started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they assisted PhD students with their experiments. In 2012, they worked as a Sales Representative for Chegg Inc., creating and selling lecture notes and study guides. That same year, they also held a Sales and Marketing Student Intern position at Top Hat, where they conducted research and directly contacted professors to sell products.

In 2011, Dorin Baniel worked as an iOS App Developer, designing and launching an iOS application called iDesignate, aimed at increasing transportation safety for students. Dorin marketed the application through various channels and gained experience in Python and Swift languages.

From 2014 to 2016, Dorin worked at Conversant, initially as a Client Development and Operations employee, managing client relationships and assisting in strategic planning. Later, they transitioned to a Programmatic Media Delivery role. Dorin received recognition from top-tier clients for their dedication and successfully increased client investment.

In 2017, Dorin joined Microsoft as part of the Corporate Access Program, facilitating interactions between leading enterprises and innovative startups.

Since 2018, Dorin Baniel has been with Glilot Capital Partners as a Vice President, Value Creation. In this role, they are responsible for building and maintaining an Advisory Board, supporting portfolio companies in achieving product-market fit and scale, identifying multimillion-dollar contracts with F500 organizations and hyper-growth unicorns, and leading angel investment deals. Dorin has also built core processes and infrastructure for the organization.

Additionally, Dorin has been involved with several other organizations in leadership and mentorship roles. Dorin was a Steering Committee Member for the Women Founders Forum, which aims to equip women entrepreneurs with the necessary tools and skills for startup success.

Most recently, Dorin started working as the Principal and Head of EMEA at NightDragon in 2023.

Dorin Baniel holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology, Business, and Informatics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, they have obtained a Global MBA in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Reichman University. Dorin has also received certifications in the Venture Deals Course from Kauffman Fellows and in Cyber Attack Countermeasures and Introduction to Cyber Attacks from New York University's Tandon School of Engineering.
