Olawale Jenkins Lawal has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as a Business Advisor to the Executive Vice President - Upstream and the Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer at NNPC Limited since March 2016. Previous roles at NNPC included Technical Assistant to corporate leadership and Energy Analyst, focusing on investment decisions and economic evaluations of field development plans. Additional experience includes a position as NAPIMS Secondee at Shell, where Olawale worked on economics modeling and decision analysis, as well as roles at Total, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Zenith Bank Group, Standard Chartered Bank, and Cement Company of Northern Nigeria. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Petroleum Economics and Management from IFP School and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos, complemented by other specialized training and certifications.
