Jens Lanwes has extensive experience in the field of operations and maintenance (O&M) and asset management, with a focus on the renewable energy sector. Jens began their career at Maersk Contractors, where they held various positions in drilling operations from 1995 to 2000. Lanwes then joined Nordex as a Service Manager, responsible for overseeing wind turbine service operations from 2000 to 2005.

In 2005, Lanwes transitioned to Trinergy Ltd as an O&M Manager, where they managed the operation and maintenance activities for wind energy projects until 2008. Jens then took on the role of Development Manager at Trinergy Ltd from 2008 to 2009, focusing on project development.

Lanwes's expertise in O&M led him to RWE Innogy GmbH, where they served as the Head of O&M from 2009 to 2014. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the operational and maintenance activities for renewable energy projects.

From 2014 to 2016, Lanwes worked as an O&M Package Manager at Veja Mate Offshore Project GmbH, where they developed and implemented the operations strategy for a 402MW offshore wind farm. Jens also supervised the preparation of processes, manuals, and certification of O&M procedures and documentation.

Lanwes then joined Northland Deutsche Bucht (Offshore Wind Farm) in 2016 as an O&M Package Manager, where they developed the operations strategy for a 250MW offshore wind farm. Jens was responsible for planning and implementing technical asset management and operations and maintenance management.

In 2014, Lanwes also began working at K2 Management, initially as a Senior Consultant focusing on developing O&M strategies and concepts. Jens later took on the roles of Senior Consultant and Senior Project Manager - Operations and Maintenance Management, and finally as Chief Consultant and Project Manager, overseeing O&M and asset management projects.

In 2022, Lanwes joined US Wind, Inc as an Owner's Engineer, providing O&M expertise and serving as a chief consultant.

Throughout their career, Lanwes has demonstrated a strong understanding of O&M strategies and concepts, as well as expertise in project management and technical asset management in the renewable energy sector.

Jens Lanwes attended Duborg Skole in Flensburg, Germany from 1982 to 1987, where they obtained their A-levels with a focus on Mathematics and History. Jens then pursued further education at FMS Fredericia in Denmark from 1989 to 1995, earning a B.Tech-TM degree in Marine Engineering and Management.
