Nicholas Eichler, EIT, currently serves as a Product Development Engineer at Nichols Portland since October 2019, where Nicholas plays a pivotal role as the lead design engineer for project Stingray, collaborating with a team to design and develop client-specific products utilizing CAD, CFD, and FEA tools. Nicholas has enhanced rapid prototyping capabilities through the integration of a 3D printer and has fostered strong client relationships during the research and development process. Prior to this position, Nicholas interned at The Baker Company, improving operational efficiency through 5S strategies and aiding in the company’s ISO 9000 certification efforts. Earlier experience includes conducting energy audits with the City of St. Petersburg Engineering Department and teaching swimming as a lifeguard and water safety instructor. Nicholas holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, along with a minor in Materials Science and Engineering, all from the University of Florida.
