Dmitry Kechasov has a diverse work experience in several organizations. In 2011, they worked as a Distributor at Evereal Distribujon & Servises until October 2013. From October 2013 to September 2017, Dmitry was a Doktorand/PhD at Universitetet i Stavanger. Dmitry then joined NIBIO Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research in June 2017 as a Postdoc and later transitioned to the role of a Research Scientist in June 2021. Additionally, starting from January 2023, Dmitry is an Associate Professor at UiS: Department of Chemistry, Bioscience, and Environmental Engineering.

Dmitry Kechasov completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology from the State University of Nizhni Novgorod named after N.I. Lobachevsky (UNN) from 2006 to 2010. Dmitry then pursued a Master's degree in Biological Chemistry with a specialization in Biotechnology from the University of Stavanger from 2011 to 2013.
