Jarno Stappers, PhD, currently serves as CFO at D'M&S since December 2023, following a tenure as Senior Management Consultant in CFO Advisory Services at KPMG Belgium from September 2022 to December 2023. Stappers has experience providing support and partnership to CFOs and finance departments, enhancing their maturity and efficiency. Academic contributions include voluntary postdoctoral research and teaching assistant roles at Universiteit Gent from August 2016 to December 2023. Previous leadership as CEO of the Belgian Deafsport Committee lasted from June 2018 to December 2022, and earlier roles include sales representative at Bacardi and trainer at Volleybalclub Oostkamp. Stappers holds a Doctorandus in Business Economics from Ghent University, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution and HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen, respectively.
