Ellen Hall joined New Horizons in 2015. Ellen holds degrees in Art & Advertising Design, Fashion Buying and Merchandising and Baking & Pastry Arts. Prior to joining New Horizons, Ellen worked as a Director of Catering and Director of Marketing and Membership for some of the DC areaā€™s most prestigious County Clubs and City Clubs. At New Horizons, Ellen is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic marketing and communications efforts for the organization including public relations activities, social media, and two monthly newsletters. She is also responsible for all fundraising and development goals, including planning for the annual golf tournament, ā€œA Fairway to Helpā€, as well as other donor outreach events and activities and grant management. Ellen is devoted to bringing awareness to the abilities of those with developmental and intellectual disabilities and to reducing the stigma associated with this vulnerable population.
