Elizabeth is currently Chief Financial Officer at NHS Improvement, having previously been the Director of Finance at the NHS Trust Development Authority.

She has over 25 years NHS experience and has spent most of her career in NHS finance and held a number of senior roles in complex organisations at a national and regional level, including as Director of Finance for the South West Strategic Health Authority.

She is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
