Emily Gibbons currently serves as a Policy Officer for Mental Health at NHS Providers, a position held since May 2023. Prior to this role, Emily was the President Policy Support Officer at The Royal College of Psychiatrists from November 2020 to May 2023, where responsibilities included providing policy and communications support to the College President and advancing initiatives related to mental health parity, workforce wellbeing, sustainability, and promoting equality and diversity. Earlier experience includes serving as a Policy Executive at DeHavilland, where monitoring parliamentary and policy developments and advising health-related organizations were primary tasks. Emily's educational background includes a Master's degree in Social and Political Thought (Philosophy) and a Bachelor's degree in Politics from the University of Sussex.
