Fiona Bairstow has significant experience in research and education, currently serving as a Research and Development Coordinator and Research Governance Officer at NHS Lothian since April 2022. Prior to this role, Fiona was a Laboratory Demonstrator at the University of St Andrews from September 2018 to April 2021 and held positions as an Academic Peer Mentor and Research Assistant at the University of Kent from July 2017 to April 2018. Fiona's early experience includes an internship as an Ogden Trust Teach Physics Intern in June and July 2016. Educationally, Fiona earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from the University of St Andrews between 2018 and 2022 and a Master of Physics from the University of Kent from 2014 to 2018, preceded by A Levels at Wakefield Girls' High School from 2012 to 2014.
