Catherine Watson is currently a Senior Nurse Therapist at NHS Fife, where responsibilities include providing assessments and therapeutic support to young people as part of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services core team. Additionally, Catherine serves as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Stirling, focusing on stigma and discrimination in mental health for nursing students. As a Public Speaker and Media Volunteer with See Me, Catherine utilizes personal experiences to challenge stigma and advocate for mental health awareness. Previous roles include Staff Nurse at Glenbervie Care Limited and Nursing Assistant with NHS Scotland, along with various positions that include volunteer work and customer service roles. Catherine holds a Master of Science in Psychology and two Bachelor's degrees in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing and Professional and Creative Writing with Journalism.
