Darrel Simmons has an extensive career in the electrical industry, beginning as an apprentice electrician at ICI (now Penrice) from January 1975 to May 1979. Following this, Darrel worked as an Electrical Sales Representative at MM Elect Wholesalers from 1982 until April 1989. From April 1989 until retirement in October 2023, Darrel served as a Tech Elect Sales Representative, assisting customers with product selections for their project requirements and adapting to numerous changes in the industry. Darrel's education was completed at Taperoo High (now Oceanview College) from 1971 to 1974.
