Alex Townsend-Mitchell is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the sports industry. Since November 2005, Alex has served as the Vice President of Club Finance & Venue Business at the National Hockey League (NHL), overseeing initiatives related to venue business, data collection, reporting, and best practices for NHL Clubs. Alex has held several roles within the NHL, progressively advancing from Senior Director to Financial Analyst, contributing significantly to Team Reporting and Hockey Related Revenue metrics. Prior experience includes a Financial Analyst position at NYC2012 and a brief stint with the Boston Bruins as Game Night Staff. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. Education also includes attendance at Riverdale Country School, The Town School, and The Fleming School.
