Hermann Kohloffel has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Hermann currently serves as the Board Treasurer for the IPAF IPA Foundation of South Africa. Prior to this, they held the position of Managing Director at NHC LTD & NHC Health Centres, where they focused on exploring opportunities within the National Health Insurance (NHI) sector. Hermann also served as the Divisional Head at NHC LTD, overseeing outsource administration and billing. In addition, Hermann held the role of Executive Director Finance at ASAIPA, where they dealt with national healthcare issues affecting General Practitioners across South Africa. Hermann also served as an Executive Director at St Micheils International Leisure Estate and worked as an Accounts Executive at Creative Consultants.

Hermann Kohloffel completed their Matric degree at Roosevelt High School in Johannesburg from 1985 to 1986. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication and Media Studies at the University of Johannesburg from 1989 to 1993.
