Maaike Polder is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience across various media outlets. Currently serving as a journalist at NH Media since June 2018, Maaike previously worked as a freelance journalist covering South America for publications such as Algemeen Dagblad and VICE from January 2018 to May 2020. Maaike co-founded Polder Productions, focusing on video direction and interviews from May 2016 to August 2019. Earlier roles include being a camerajournalist and editor at De Financiële Telegraaf and De Telegraaf from January 2016 to November 2018, as well as a reporter for Holland Media Combinatie from January 2014 to January 2017. Maaike's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and a marketing communication degree from Horizon College Alkmaar.
