Nicolas Depoorter is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in international business development and management within the energy sector, particularly in electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Currently serving as the Country Managing Director for NGEN in Spain, Nicolas has successfully managed subsidiaries in Spain, Portugal, and Poland. Prior to NGEN, Nicolas held various influential roles at Tesla from 2016 to 2022, where significant achievements included the expansion of the EV charging network across the Middle East and Africa. Additionally, Nicolas has a strong background in sales and account management from previous positions at Qualisteo and AVOB, and has contributed to academia through lectures on eco-innovation at Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. Educational credentials include a master's degree in Management of Eco-Innovation and a DUT in International Business.
