Simon Tan has extensive experience in educational administration, currently serving as the Director of Student & Alumni Services at Ngee Ann Polytechnic since October 2001. In this role, Simon oversees critical areas including student care, scholarships, financial aid, and alumni relations. Previous positions include Director of Academic Partnerships & Development, focusing on secondary school student engagement, and Director of the Planning & Projects Office, where oversight of organizational development and institutional quality was paramount. Earlier in their career, Simon worked in managerial roles at BP and led audit teams at EY. Simon holds a Master's degree in Education from The University of Western Australia and a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, complemented by executive training from IMD and the Civil Service College.
