Emma Betuel is an experienced content writer currently employed at NFX since April 2022. Prior to this role, Emma worked as a freelance journalist at emmakbetuel.com from January 2021 to April 2022 and served as a staff writer at Inverse from June 2018 to January 2021. Emma also contributed to The Sag Harbor Express in June 2017 and completed an internship at National Public Radio WBUR, where responsibilities included content creation for the CommonHealth blog and assisting with the launch of the podcast "The Magic Pill." Emma holds a Master of Science degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and two Bachelor’s degrees in Health and Human Biology and History from Brown University.
