Karin Kaasjager has extensive experience in the field of internal medicine, currently serving as an internist acute geneeskunde and opleider interne geneeskunde at Universitair Medisch Centrum Utrecht since January 2013. In addition to clinical roles, Karin Kaasjager holds several leadership positions, including bestuurslid at KNMG District Utrecht since 2020, consortiumlid at NFU - Nederlandse Federatie van Universitair Medische Centra since 2017, and bestuurslid at NVIAG since November 2018. Karin Kaasjager has also been voorzitter of the Nederlands Vasculair Forum since 2010 and previously served on the board of the Nederlandse Internisten Vereniging from 2009 to 2013. Additional experience includes educating SEH-artsen at Rijnstate and holding the position of internist nefrologie/vasculaire geneeskunde/acute geneeskunde until 2013. Karin Kaasjager's educational background includes a degree from Utrecht University obtained between 1981 and 1988.
