Stephen Jans has worked as a Financial Advisor at The KNW Group since 2007. In 2007, they also became the Vice President of NFP Wealth Management at NFP Advisor Services, where they continue to work to this day.

Stephen Jans attended Windom Area High School until 1990. Stephen then went on to North Dakota State University in 1990 to study Political Science and Government. However, they did not complete a degree at this institution. From 1991 to 1995, Stephen Jans studied Political Science and Government at St. Cloud State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.
