John Kropp is an experienced Structural Engineer currently serving at Nexus Engineering Group, LLC since February 2019 and concurrently working as a Senior Structural Engineer in a self-employed capacity. Prior to these roles, John accumulated extensive experience at URS Energy and Construction, Inc. from April 1990 to December 2018, and at SSOE Group from January 1988 to April 1990. Earlier in John's career, significant projects included work on nuclear power plants, auto assembly plants, hotel buildings, and computer manufacturing facilities while at Giffels Associates from October 1981 to December 1987. John started as a Structural Engineer at Dravo Corporation and Pullman Swindell in 1980. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Science in Wood Science and Wood Products/Pulp and Paper Technology from the University of Maine.
