Matteo Gironda is an experienced Control Systems Engineer currently with GE Vernova's Gas Power Control Solutions & Services, where responsibilities include upgrading gas turbine control systems across multiple power plants and migrating analog systems to digital. Previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Central Coast Agriculture involved designing a custom roller press and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. Matteo served as the Control Systems Lead Engineer for Bronco Space, where contributions to the BroncoSat-1 CubeSat included developing a stable attitude control system and validating it through hardware-in-the-loop testing. Academic experience includes participation in the Mars SmallSat project at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, where system design and technical risk assessments were conducted. Matteo holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university and has held various roles including subject tutor and engineering intern, focusing on organization and accessibility within engineering documentation.
