Luke Hollenback has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Luke started their career at iD Tech Camps as a Game Development Instructor in 2014. Later that year, they joined Global Radio Outreach as a Full Stack Engineer, where they worked until 2018. In 2015, they also had a role as a Software Engineer Intern at Astronics Ballard Technology, which they transitioned into a full-time Software Engineer position in 2017.
In 2018, Luke joined Nextworld® as a Software Engineer, where they designed, developed, and provided leadership for enterprise-grade software solutions. Luke quickly progressed to the role of Senior Software Engineer before becoming a Software Engineering Manager in 2019. In this role, Luke was responsible for managing and leading teams in building highly-scalable, cloud-native business tools using Agile Methodology. Luke also collaborated with cross-company and customer stakeholders to achieve strategic goals.
Luke's contributions at Nextworld® continued to advance, and they eventually became the Senior Software Engineering Manager in 2021, overseeing the development of BPMN-based workflow systems, metadata-driven AI and ML toolkits, distributed batch job processing frameworks, and more. Currently, Luke holds the position of Director of Software Engineering, where they continue to lead and drive innovation for Nextworld®.
Luke Hollenback earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Seattle Pacific University from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program at Valor Christian High School from 2009 to 2013. Luke also obtained additional certifications including Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in July 2023 and completed a Java Course from SoloLearn in 2017.
