Tobias Gysi is a Software Engineer currently working at NextSilicon since May 2022, following experience at Google where contributions were made to the MLIR/LLVM compiler framework. Prior to this, Tobias served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zürich, leading the development of a research compiler for the weather and climate domain, and also as a PhD Student conducting research, presenting internationally, and supervising academic projects. Earlier experience includes a role as Project Manager and Software Engineer at Super Computing Systems, focusing on software architecture and project coordination. Tobias holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from ETH Zürich, earned in 2005.
