Adam Sharkawy is the Founder and Managing Partner of Material Impact, a company dedicated to addressing significant unmet needs through innovative material science-based technologies, with experience dating back to 2015. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for multiple organizations, including Nauticus Robotics, Inc., Nohbo, Bloomer Tech, Talus Renewables, GenPhoenix, DetraPel, Tierra Biosciences, Jump Aero Incorporated, and Lynq Technologies, Adam has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing technology and sustainability. Educationally, Adam earned a Doctorate in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and holds a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, as well as a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from The American University in Cairo.
