Chip Barrere has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Chip currently serves as the Principal Systems Engineer at NextGen Federal Systems, where they spearheaded the modernization of software infrastructure and designed aircraft antennas. Chip previously worked at Lockheed Martin as an RF Engineer - Senior Staff, where they identified design deficiencies and improved simulation models. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at NextGen Federal Systems and Enterprise Electronics Corporation, where they led development efforts and designed software components. Chip also has experience as a Senior VP Technology & Software Engineer at Weather Decision Technologies, where they led a team to develop an aviation weather support system. Chip started their career as a Meteorologist at WVUE and later served as a Meteorologist/Oceanographer in the US Navy Reserve.

Chip Barrere holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, which they obtained from Ohio University between the years 2015 and 2017.
