Robert Malakhov, Ph.D., serves as a Materials and Process Engineer at NextFlex since November 2021. Prior to this role, Robert gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Sandia National Laboratories, where investigations focused on liquid film coating flows using numerical multiphysics finite element code, Goma 6.0. Robert also held leadership positions such as ERC SLC President at the NASCENT Nanosystems Engineering Research Center during 2018-2020. Additionally, Robert has a diverse background in user support and system administration at the University of New Mexico's Latin American and Iberian Institute, along with mechanical engineering internships at Rio Grande Micro. Robert obtained a Ph.D. in Nanoscience and Microsystems Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico School of Engineering.
