Dr. David G Thieman is an experienced professional in business development and educational leadership. Currently serving as the Director of National Client Development at NextEra Energy Resources since December 2022, Thieman focuses on providing large commercial and industrial customers and universities with innovative clean energy solutions, including solar and wind, battery storage, and EV infrastructure. Prior to this role, Thieman was the Director of Business Development at NextEra Energy Services from July 2016 to December 2022 and served as Superintendent of Schools for SD 194 in Steger, Illinois from July 2011 to June 2016. Thieman's educational background includes an Ed.D in Educational Leadership from DePaul University, along with multiple degrees in Educational Leadership, Public Administration, and a Bachelor's degree from Illinois State University.
