Zarin Giurlani has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. They started their career as a Graphic Design Intern at Cinequest in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Stylist at Stitch Fix. The following year, Zarin joined Western Digital as a Graphic Designer. In 2017, they transitioned to PRO Unlimited, where they served as a Production Designer at Meta until 2019.
In 2019, Zarin joined LinkedIn as an Associate Product Designer, later becoming a Product Designer. During their time at LinkedIn, they also pursued their passion for entrepreneurship and started their own small business, Bohemian Minimalism.
In 2020, Zarin moved on to obé Fitness as a Product Designer before joining Magnit as a Product Designer at Meta in 2022. Alongside their work, Zarin founded ZFK Interiors LLC in 2023. Currently, Zarin is working as a Product Designer at Nextdoor, starting in July 2023.
Zarin Giurlani began their education in 2012 at FIDM, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Merchandise Product Development, which they completed in 2013. They then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Design Studies at San Jose State University from 2014 to 2016.
In terms of additional certifications, Zarin Giurlani obtained a certification in Interior Design School from Psychologie of Home in March 2023. They also completed various courses and specializations related to digital marketing, e-commerce, customer engagement, and email marketing through Coursera, obtaining certifications in December 2022. Furthermore, they attained certifications in Digital Accessibility for the Modern Workplace, Understanding and Supporting ADHD Colleagues in the Workplace, Giving and Receiving Feedback, and How to Effectively Deliver Criticism through LinkedIn, with completion dates ranging from March 2022 to September 2022. Additionally, Zarin Giurlani obtained certifications in Accessibility for Web Design and UX Foundations: Accessibility through LinkedIn in April 2019 and March 2019, respectively. Lastly, they achieved a certification in UX Design from Springboard in April 2016.
