Preya Patel is an experienced product design leader currently serving as the Product Design Lead for Growth at Nextdoor since July 2023. Prior to this role, Patel was a Manager and Senior Principal Product Designer at Metromile, where leadership was demonstrated during the company's acquisition by Lemonade insurance. Patel's background includes significant contributions to Tinder Inc. as both a Manager/Senior Product Designer and Product Designer, and as a Lead User Experience Designer at Wheel, which was acquired by Tinder. Earlier positions include leadership roles in user experience design and business development at companies such as Ferris, Laird + Partners, and Deutsch LA. Preya Patel holds an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and a BA in Business Marketing from Cal State Fullerton, with additional education from General Assembly.
