Masood Abdulaziz is a seasoned professional in the LNG and automation sectors with extensive experience across various prominent organizations. Currently serving as Senior Manager for LNG Digital Strategy and Business Systems at NextDecade since August 2022, Masood also oversees the Rio Grande LNG Export Terminal and carbon capture projects. Previous roles include Principal Engineer at Venture Global LNG, and significant project leadership positions at JGC, including responsibilities as I&C Interface Lead for the Shell LNG Canada Mega Project and ICSS Automation Package Manager for the ICHTHYS Onshore LNG Mega Project. Additional experience encompasses key engineering roles at Chevron, Noble Energy, Santos Ltd, Qatargas, Jacobs Engineering, and KBR, where Masood played a critical role in numerous LNG projects. An alumnus of the University of Houston, Masood holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
