Tina Hossain has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tina currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Next Shift Learning, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Optum as a Senior Director of Strategy & Operations from May 2021 to September 2022, and as a Director of Strategy and Operations from April 2020 to May 2021.

Before joining Optum, Tina was a Managerial Senior Consultant at Kaiser Permanente from October 2018 to March 2020. Tina also gained experience at Oliver Wyman as an Associate from September 2016 to September 2018. During their time at Oliver Wyman, Tina was involved in various projects, including devising a 10-year strategy plan for a top 10 healthcare system, conducting due diligence on startup companies, and overseeing modeling and operational improvements.

Tina's earlier work experience includes roles as a Redwoods Summer Associate at DaVita Kidney Care in 2015, a Senior Policy Manager at the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce from August 2013 to July 2014, and a Public Policy Manager at the same organization from August 2012 to August 2013. Tina also served as a Special Assistant to the Controller at the Office of CA State Controller, John Chiang, from October 2009 to August 2012, where they led the expansion of a statewide income tax assistance program.

Tina's educational background includes being selected as a Riordan MBA Fellow at the UCLA Anderson Riordan MBA Fellows Program, where they participated in case studies and led a team of Fellows in organizing an annual alumni and family event. Tina also served as the Director of the CMC Cultural Diversity Admissions Team, where they worked on reformulating diversity recruitment goals and organizing recruitment events at Claremont McKenna College Career Services Center as a Career Consultant.
