Georgi Ginev has a diverse work experience in the field of semiconductor technology and reliability engineering. Georgi has experience working with various companies such as Nexperia, Ampleon, NXP Semiconductors, NUON/Helianthos, Oled Technologies B.V., and the Institute of Physical Chemistry at the Bulgarian Academy of Science.
At Nexperia, they currently hold the position of Senior Principal Engineer, Wafer Level Reliability (WLR). Their responsibilities include creating WLR plans for evaluating new CMOS diffusion processes, and evaluating test results according to international semiconductor standards.
Prior to that, at Ampleon, they served as Principal Quality and Reliability Engineer. In this role, Georgi assessed reliability risks related to the release of GaN and LDMOS RF Power products, developed qualification strategies for new processes and products, and monitored the execution of reliability testing and analysis.
Before joining Ampleon, Georgi worked at NXP Semiconductors as Principal Reliability Physics Engineer. Here, they assessed reliability risks for new or transferred IC products, developed qualification strategies, and organized and monitored reliability testing and analysis.
Georgi also has experience as a Research Scientist at NUON/Helianthos, where they analyzed production and solar module performance data and suggested yield and reliability improvement plans. Additionally, they worked as a Display Physicist at Oled Technologies B.V., where they were responsible for materials and device formulation, equipment development, and accelerated reliability testing for PM OLED displays.
Lastly, Georgi started their career as a Research Scientist at the Institute of Physical Chemistry at the Bulgarian Academy of Science.
Overall, Georgi Ginev has extensive experience in reliability engineering and semiconductor technology, with expertise in product qualification, testing, and analysis.
Georgi Ginev completed their high school education in the field of physics and mathematics at the High school of Mathematics and Physics, Yambol from 1986 to 1989. Georgi then pursued their undergraduate education at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski from 1989 to 1996, earning a Master of Science degree in physics. Later on, they attended Technische Universität Braunschweig, where they completed their PhD in Physics/Electrical Engineering from 2002 to 2005.
