Stefan Atanasov possesses extensive experience in corporate finance and investments, currently serving as Manager of Corporate Finance and Investments at Nexo since June 2020, after progressing from the role of Senior Associate. At Nexo, a leading regulated digital assets institution, responsibilities include corporate development, venture capital investments, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Prior to Nexo, Stefan held positions at SORTIS INVEST as an Associate focused on M&A and corporate finance, and as an Investment Banking Analyst at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Additionally, Stefan began a career in finance and logistics as an intern at Toyota Balkans EOOD. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Financial Management, attained with distinction from the University of Groningen, and a Bachelor's degree in International Economics and Finance from the University of National and World Economy, complemented by studies in International Business at the State University — Higher School of Economics.
